How to use the eLearning Wiki

Use the eLearning wiki to: collaborate on various discussion topics, gain insight from others using eLearning technology, and share resources.

Viewing and Editing the wiki

The eLearning Wiki is a public wiki, which means anyone can view it (with the exception of hidden pages). If you are a faculty or staff member at Bemidji State University and wish to contribute to (edit) the wiki, you will need to have the invite key (password), available from eLearning Support. You may also wish to create a free PBwiki account to manage your wikis (see instructions below).

Navigating the wiki

  • Navigating a wiki is similar to navigating a web site.
  • To return to the wiki home page, click the Home button at the top of the page.
  • To return to a previously viewed page, use the "Back" button on your browser.
  • Click on any blue-underlined link to go to that page or website.
  • There are additional links in the sidebar on the right.

Using PBwiki Identities

Why Create a PBWiki Identity?

"A PBwiki Account (also referred to as My PBwiki) provides a central point for you to manage logging in to wikis that you own or visit. Rather than having to remember the individual passwords to different wikis, your PBwiki Account gives you one login to access any wikis where you're an authorized user." Paul Singh, Director of PBWiki support
